recent stuff

the bbq on thurs was fun! (although the pushing-people-into-the-pool part wasn't) almost everyone was soaking wet when they left. next time we have a bbq, don't ever let it be near a pool. it took quite a long time for the food to be cooked though. sticking everything into the microwave oven would be ten times faster but they will lack the smoky smell, the characteristic and best part of barbequed food. :P

by the way, i realised there are a lot of drama serials/movies, that started off with contract marriages/arranged marriages by the older generation, usually between two people who are strangers/acquaintances: goong, full house, sweet 18, my little bride(movie), war of the in-laws. they also happen to be mostly korean dramas and comedies.

they really should be more creative.
